This appears to be the year of diversification for the Cox Report. While we are still going strong with our loyal Professional Anglers from the Bassmaster Elite Series and our Saltwater Anglers, we have added a few new genres to our media tracking.
At the first of this year we created a Cox Report for Super Boat International. This report focused more on the entire brand’s impact on the economy. While we still included media clippings from the 2010 Super Boat race season, we also had to look into the communities supporting this industry. This was a new twist for us and turned out to be very successful for both parties.
Tommy Skarlis
Sticking with our fishing roots, we added a highly successful Walleye Angler to our list this year, Tommy Skarlis. Skarlis is very well known in the walleye world and is a great spokesperson for his sponsors, which makes clipping for him an easy job!
Triathlete - Andy Potts
Another first this year is the addition of a well-known Triathlete and former Olympian, Andy Potts. Potts is keeping us very busy considering he has already placed 1st in four different triathlons this year. He is a force to be reckoned with this year and has opened up a whole new world for the Cox Reports.
